Transgender Therapy... What sort of things should I look forward to?

Are there required fields that I must be educated on prior to entering therapy for my Testosterone approval? Ive educated myself since I do not wish to put something into my body that I dont know about but is there any specifics I need to know. Also, aproxiomately how long will I be in therapy before recieving approval? Can you please give me a slight blow by blow of how your experience was and what it entailed... Thank you very much.
