Found condom in ex girlfriends trash, was it planted to be passive toward me?

Me and my girlfriend broke up very recently. she hasnt talked to me since then, but says she doesnt know quite what she wants and doesnt know what she feels. She will talk to me next week, and is away on a trip. I had to stop by her place t pick up my phone charger and i found a condom wrapper and condom resting almost neatly on top of her trash pile. I obviously didnt touch it, but from the looks of it it appeared TOO clean to have been used, was barely unraveled, and had no apparent residue in or out. She knew I was going to stop by to pick up the charger, could she have planted as a way to make me angry? When she split i asked if she was trying to sleep with anyone till she talked with me, and she said no. I know she is technically single, but im in a limbo and dont know what is going on. im heartbroken, any advice?
